Are there any good CIPP/E resources (other/cheaper than the IAPP) or is there a way to supplement/fund it as a veteran?

Hi Melissa - you could also leverage information published by various EU country Data Protection Authorities - the UK's ICO (https://ico.org.uk/) has a wealth of information about GDPR, for example. They won't be specifically tailored to the IAPP's program, but generally apply.

Hi Melissa,

Have you looked into VocRehab offered by the VA? I have not looked recently but they may be able to help with certifications. When I separated 21 years ago, I used their resources which help pay for college, tuition, and living expenses. They didn't do certifications at the time but they may now.

Thanks,
Cortney Jarrett
