Can anyone please help me revise my resume?

I am applying for several MBA programs, and do not yet have a discerning eye on how to build a great resume from my experience.

Hello Rhonda,

You would want to revise your resume to where it is ATS compliant. In today’s information tech age, a lot of online platforms uses algorithm to filter out 70% of the resumes before it ever researches a recruiter.
My team and I work with clients to analyze resumes and rewrite it towards the career that would best fit in with their skills and also a cover letter that will give you a better chance of success in obtaining an interview.

Please connect with me on Linkedin to discover more about what my coaching and consulting company can do for you in transitioning your career.

Hi Rhonda,

As a Marine for Life Representative (https://www.usmc-mccs.org/services/career/marine-for-life-network/), I would encourage you to reach out to me on LinkedIn as I would love to help you think through your MBA application process, including a resume review. I left active duty and attended a full-time MBA program several years ago and have lots of experience coaching others through this process.

I look forward to connecting,

Hi Rhonda, always happy to give a military service member/veteran's resume a look through, once one or two others have first reviewed it.

If you would like, please send it over with the revisions incorporated from the recommendations provided by others: rahnir@newschool.edu.

Rhonda,

I'm a MBA Ambassador for Service2School and was an Armed Forces Group Co-Chair at Chicago Booth. 12 of out my previous 15 mentees have successfully placed at a M7 business school so I think I have a pretty good feel for how to optimize resumes for admissions. Happy to provide any other application guidance you may need as well.

Send to matt.johnson@chicagobooth.edu

Don't forget to reach out to the vet clubs at each of your target schools - networking with current students is an absolute necessity and the vet clubs will make sure you're hitting all the wickets in your application.

Rhonda, thank you for your service!

I've helped several Veterans via ACP with their resumes and certainly would be honored to help you. When you reply, please attach your resume so I can review and be prepared to assist you when we can discuss it. Thanks!
