I am interested in doing professional blogging. Does anyone have experience with this or know of any great training?

Hi Theresa, thank you for your service. 19 years is impressive. While I agree with Scott Vedder's comment that the blogging world is crowded, readers will value an authentic voice that delivers true value. Presumably you track bloggers and know why you read them. Develop your own authentic voice. Do your research into what's out there already. Find a unique angle on a much-covered topic. Remember to lean into your own personal experience. Above all, know that writers write. Discipline yourself to work on your craft everyday. Find your message and readers will find you.

There's a lot of noise in the blogging and content creation space. I think a good plan would be to first clarify what you want to talk about, why you're an expert, who your audience is, and who would be willing to pay for it and why. Then build a plan to start curating valuable content that aligns with what your audience wants and what sponsors may want to support. People will tell you what they're willing to throw money at. Publish a few pieces and see what resonates.
