Would like to work for the VA have been trying for a little over 8 years.

Adam Carpio Denver, CO

Friends of mine who are not veterans or served in the military have not had a problem getting a job at the VA. They have helped me and I have filled all the necessary paperwork and still nothing. It's very disappointing that I cannot be the one to treat veterans with respect. I go there and I see how these Veterans are treated. It's disappointing and sometimes even when I go I get treated badly.

Keep in mind that any type of negativity is searched for during the vetting process. If you have made any comments similar to this one on Facebook or any other social network, this could have something to do with a no go on getting in. It is possible to clean that stuff up and try and again(that is saying there is some). I would suggest Hire Heroes USA, they offer free assistance in matching a resume to a VA application. Thanks for your service and God Bless.
