One area I would suggest you consider are Hospitals.

Civilian Hospitals that are not religious based and even some that are religious based have very active/very involved Chaplaincy Programs. The often augment their paid Hospital staff with community clergy - but the organization/administration within these Hospital Departments are often folks with your background and experience.

I do believe you would feel very welcome.
