If you have your PMP certification, what's next?

PRESCOTT FARRIS Burke, VA

I recently completed my PMP certification and have a bit of time on my hands while I trade my typical commute for a few hours more at home each day.

What's the best follow-on certification for working as a project and/or program manager?

Prescott-
Thanks for your service and congrats on earning your PMP!
Although I don't have one myself, I would recommend the Agile certification next, since that will provide you with the best career opportunities and applications of project management today.
And don't forget to use any spare time in earning the required 60 PDUs over the next 3 years to maintain your PMP - that is not something you want to try to do at the last minute!
Good luck in continuing your project management learning and career!
