As many other industries, Real Estate has several specialties. Do you know what field of real estate - development, project management, consulting, broker, etc? I have personally worked with major companies such as JLL and CBRE, these are global companies with presence everywhere and in many different departments. I would advise you to research these companies to see what interest you the most.

I would be glad to provide advise but I can't say I'm an "expert" at every field but have a pretty good understanding of all. 12 yrs experience with degree in construction science my focus has been managing small and multi-million dollar capital projects for large corporations, I represent internal stakeholders on all types of projects. I hire design teams, consultants in every specialty, and construction companies. Also work with brokers and developers. The point is, I interact with many backgrounds.
