Resume Assistance

Amy Smith Fayetteville, NC

Hey fine folks! Thanks for all you do! Looking to transition over to the other side in the next year and working on my resume. I'm looking to get into the project management career with a focus on information technology. Is anyone willing to take a look at my resume to see if I'm close to the mark at all and what I can improve on? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Amy,

It looks like you are getting plenty of help with your resume. My advice is to make a "Master" resume and then tailor each resume submission to the job that you are applying for. Ensure that your resume includes as many of the key words in their description as possible. One great way to check is the go to https://www.jobscan.co

It is not a .com but actually .co you can upload your resume and then copy the job posting and they will tell you what percentage of a match it is.

I see that you already have resume help. As an added suggestion, if you haven't already, check out PMI [https://www.pmi.org/] for certification and AFCEA [https://www.afcea.org/site/] for relevant networking.

Hi Amy, hope you and your family are safe and healthy. I would be happy to take a look at your CV. I am involved with 2 technology military technology networks which I can provide more detail as well. The first one is Saleforce Military which is a customer relationship management and the other is Tech Vets which focuses on cyber security.

Many thanks, Kathryn
