Veteran

Derric Brown Fresno, CA

Hello I was just awarded Vocational Rehabilitation to pursue my MBA. I am searching for 5 different jobs that say MBA required. I am having a difficult time because most of the jobs say MBA strongly preferred. The types of jobs I am searching for are Financial Manager, Management and Program Analyst and Medical and Health Services Manager. I need some help finding 5 job descriptions that fit my career choice that say in the job announcement MBA required.

Derric, congratulations on the opportunity to pursue your MBA. I think it is a great career decision. I am in the process of completing my MBA too. Most job description state "MBA strongly preferred" because they do not want to discount a good candidate with good business or financial acumen who may not have an MBA. However, having an MBA will definitely give you an advantage over other applicants. I would recommend you start with the California Workforce agencies or State agencies. They tend to value credentials for their roles.
