Entry-Level Firearms Industry Jobs and Career Progression.

Veteran

Ryan Cerrillo Ladys Island, SC

I am currently trying to play my hand into the firearms industry. Without becoming a CNC machinist, what are some good jobs that would allow me to get my foot into the door while also allowing for career progression?

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your question, and thank you for your service!

To find out what types of jobs and potential career paths exist in the firearms industry, I would definitely recommend searching "Firearms" positions on LinkedIn! Doing this will not only show you what types of firearms jobs are out there, but it will show the available ones in your area, allowing you to network with professionals in the field.

One resource I would recommend for networking on LinkedIn is "23 Quick and Easy LinkedIn Updates to Get Hired Now by Skillcrush https://skillcrush.com/blog/linkedin-updates/"; . When you connect with a professional in the firearms industry, they can tell you about their background and give you a sense of the possible career progression in the field!

Hopefully this helps!
