CPP benefits?

Veteran

Laura Hoffner Virginia Beach, VA

I am considering acquiring a CPP in hopes of assisting finding a career in crisis management. Given the high price tag of the certification, I am wondering how helpful the community has found it not only in applying for jobs but practical application, as well.

Hi Laura,

I am not familiar with this field or certification. However, one research method I would consider is looking through job descriptions online that list that certification to identify the demand.

I would also try connecting with people who have this certification to hear how their experience has been. Some questions to consider: Did they receive a pay bump after acquiring it? Did they get the job they wanted after they got it? How much experience did they have in this field before obtaining this certification?

I hope this helps. Best of luck!

John
