I am looking for any assistance or information regarding to transitioning back to the area.

Veteran

Everett Davis Cleveland, TN

I have a vast amount of experience from within the Air Force. I have done everything from warehouse/distribution center operations to contracting and procurement of non-standard military equipment as well as advising foreign military forces on logistics and warehousing operations. I am looking for a job that would be a great fit for my experience.

Everett, thank you for serving, we recently had a veteran rep from Amazon reach out to us looking for veterans to work for them in the large distribution warehouse here. They were specifically looking for veterans and told us they were giving vets preference. good luck.

Everett-
Thanks for your service!
If you are hoping to move back to TN, then the obvious first consideration should be Amazon, based on your skills and experience, given their new Operations Center under construction there an planned for opening in 2021.

However, if you want to apply your military experience, then you might want to research local contractors, such as L3Harris ForceX, who have USAF contracts and are seeking transitioning military with your skillset.

Good luck!

The VERY short answer is to think about the Purchasing Department of your local hospital. Given what is happening in the world about COVID-19, employment in a hospital NOW is a great opportunity! Dr. Hank.

I think you should search out companies in your target industry and target location and try to contact recruiters at those companies. I would also recommend that you search for employees at those same companies in your target career field and ask them for help networking and/or help navigating the recruiting process at that company. You might even ask someone that you connect with to refer you to a job at their company.
Those are my thoughts. I hope that helps. Good luck.
