Northrop Grumman has a lot of work there, as do many companies in our industry.

Agreed. Definitely harness your experience in interfacing with govt contracts. You might also want to consider doing an independent version of your transition training courses. I'm a huge proponent of having a side gig you can perform yourself and maybe even transition to. After all, it takes $30 worth of business cards and a few forms to start your own business!
Thanks for your service!

Hi Lisa-
As you are probably aware, Huntsville is one of the nation's hotbeds of the Government contractor industry. With contractors supporting the Army at Redstone Arsenal, Missile Defense Agency, and NASA, there are lots of opportunities that align with your business operations experience. When I recently visited the area on business, I found it helpful to look at the current tenants of the local research park where industry is collocated. So I thought it might be helpful for you to see this list; if you find companies of interest, then you can check their websites to see if they are hiring at the local Huntsville office.

I hope this helps and best of luck to you!
Stay safe and healthy!
