I am a retired USAF veteran, I have a 2 masters one in public health and the other in Informatics. I have 28 yrs of experience in nursing with critical care flight nursing, Air crew training experience. I am looking for a job in Informatics in my area with a company like Cerner, or Epic. These supply hospitals with electronic medical record software.
If you are focusing informatics, stay focused on that career. You could scare them off with 20+ experience with two masters. Do some research in your career, look up positions on Indeed to see what qualifications and keywords they are using-build your resume and application to match those positions. The key is to learn the keywords and skills that will be required. I am sure you will find examples of your accomplishments to meet this new career field, be sure and give them #$%.
