Is there anyone with tangible pathways to employment in a government position for an Honorably discharged Marine?

Hi Richard-

Great question. As the other person mentioned, you will need to focus on what path or field you are specifically seeking. Individuals would be able to provide more specific feedback knowing that information.

I can tell you, networking with those in the targeted industry is your best bet. I would also add beefing up your LinkedIn profile. Definitely add a tagline, as this is how recruiters often/search and review candidates on LI.

Hope this helps! Thanks,

You may need to sharpen your focus to get some concrete answers. Is there a specific job field or specialty that you are looking to work in? Once you clarify that, you might ask or research which agencies employee people in that field. Then you might try to network with people currently doing that type of work at the agencies and ask them how they landed those roles and if they might be willing to help you land a role at their agency. Hope that helps. Good luck!
