I am looking for positions in companies that are in the Defense and Aeorspace Aviation similar to Software Engineer, IT and Cybersecurity. My question is are there any internships offered for the companies that have a backround in Defense and Aerospace Aviation?

I would like to know more about any internships that are offered for positions in Defense and Aerospace Aviation (Software Engineer, Cybersecurity, Information Technology). I am trying to get my foot in the door on a positive note into these companies to start out my career in the right path. I have completed the following degrees while on Active Duty Master's Degree in Science in Cybersecurity (Liberty University), Master's in Information Technology Management Systems (University of Management and Technology). I am currently persuing a dual Doctorate Degree which are a Doctorate in Computer Science (Aspen University), Doctorate of Philosophy in Technology and Innovation Management focus in Cybersecurity (Northcentral University). I am also looking for more opportunities to complete my IT Certifications (Security +, CISSP, CCNA, CEH (Certiffied Ethical Hacker), ITIL, AWS Clooud, PMP, CISA, CDNA, CCNP certifications. Thank you for your time and support.

Hi Roderick,
Your educational pursuits are quite impressive and very extensive - you should pick one or two paths to pursue to help narrow down relevant types of internships you want to go after.

Create a list of companies that interest you and research whether they offer internship programs by doing a simple internet search for the company name and "internship program" or "university relations". I know many companies such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, etc. have well a established program - and with your qualifications, applying should be easy.

Best of luck!

Mr. Adolt,

Sounds great! Kind of heard the same as in a number of government contractors out there.

Sounds great I will send you my resume, just making a few more edits to my resume. I will update you once it is sent. Thank you for your help.

Roderick,

There are a number of government contractors that you may be an awesome fit for.

Why don't you send me your resume and let's get on a call to see who might be best in my network to connect you with.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

I recommend picking a company you're interested in and then look for internship opportunities. If the company doesn't have any posted, contacting their HR department is helpful.

If you are unsure of where you'd like to intern, check out the website below:
https://www.internships.com/

USAjobs also has some great internship opportunities:

GOOD LUCK!
