How to transition from engineering to business role?

Isoken Igbinoghene Salisbury, NC

Hello all,

I have worked my entire career as an Engineer for firms such as Corning and Henkel. I have recently decided to transition my fields, and need help with the transition. I am about to complete my MBA with a concentration in Finance/ Data Analytics and Decision Making.

Please, I would love some help in tailoring my resume from engineering to a business focus.

Thank you and I look forward to any assistance.

Hi Isoken,

Thank you for posting a question to ACP AdvisorNet!

You may have better luck getting an answer to your question if you use our Community Feature:

There, you can search for Advisors in your industry of interest and by location. You can also look at the "Companies" tab and reach out to advisors at one of the companies that interest you.

As for writing your resume, we've had questions like that before:

Some of the Advisors that answered offered to take a look at these resumes. They may be willing to help you too if you contact them.

All the best,
