Some of these have at least an aspect that can be done remote, particularly once trained and/or have a base level of experience.

Many consulting jobs (what both my wife and I do) are able to be done remotely, but require an expertise that is applicable. This can be done finding your own clients, or working through a consulting firm (with you as a 3rd party/sub-contractor). But again, requires expertise that the consulting firm is looking for.

Many sales jobs can be done remotely as well (like rep'ing a region). You mention not wanting a commission based job, but some of this involve a base pay + commission/performance.

I hope this at least gives you some options to consider.
