My target objective when I “retire” (transition) is to get a VP/Director of Facilities Management/Public Works position at a higher educational institution, municipality, or large business. I spent over 20 years doing this in the military and am currently a Public Works Director for a major Navy Installation. I am posting this in hopes to find a potential mentor for the next year as I was told there is no one with this background currently available in the mentor pool. My ideal mentor is already at this level working outside of the military. Thanks, Marc

Jennifer, Thanks for the response. I already attempted this. The problem is there is no category for Facilities Managment/Public Works. My ACP advisor has not been able to find me a match. This post was a open call/attempt to possibly find someone that has this skillset, but perhaps is listed under another category. Marc
