Hi.

Some careers in USA Jobs caught my interest. Any suggestions for tailoring a Federal resume? What is the process for applying for a position on USA Jobs?

Thank you,

Kamran

On this site you can find all the information you need, starting from the list of federal jobs
https://federalresumeguide.com/list-of-government-jobs/

There is a separate section https://federalresumeguide.com/usajobs-tips/ where such topics are described in detail:
Occupational Questionnaire at USAJOBs
USAJOBS Application Status
USAJOBS Resume Builder
How to Create an USAJOBS Account
and others. I think here you will find all the answers to the questions.

Hello Kamran,

Tailoring your Federal Resume can be exhausting, and frankly overwhelming at times. The best advice is to get a "base resume" to which you can adapt to each position you apply for.

If you are interested in a several different series, go on the OPM website and look up the skills at the GS levels for those series, then include those in your base resume for that series.

Your USAJOBS profile can hold up to 5 resumes.

Message me for any information.

Have you heard of FASCLASS? I don't think I can send you the link to my blog on how to use FASCLASS and everything you can do with it, but I'm happy to share what I can.

No doubt about it, Federal Job Resumes are a beast.

Are you currently Active Duty and will you be getting out within the next six months? If so, I would reach out to Hire for Heroes. They are a phenomenal organization. There are many others, depending on where you are and what you need.

ACP is great as well! Best of luck!
