Kyle Smith Saint Augustine, FL

I have recently been working on trying to get an internship prior to getting out. The organizations that help with internships, seem to be set to 4 month internships or longer. Does anyone have any experience with getting an internship lasting approximately 2-3 months? Any advice is appreciated.

The DOD Skillbridge has a lot of internships. Hope this helps.

Hi Kyle,

Thank you so much for your service and for submitting your question! I actually have experience with internships that are 3 months long. It was for a startup and they had shorter commitment periods. You can always start off by searching online for those. What I’ve noticed with other internships however, is that you can always have a conversation with them in regards to how long you’d like to intern for. For an example, I had an internship for 5 months once, because I brought this up during the interviewing process. If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please feel free to reach out.
