I know Deloitte supports military spouses - how does a spouse go about finding the right position and identifying as a MilSpouse?
In addition to what Terry said, your spouse can also apply for a federal job through USAJobs through a non-competitive process designed to help give preference to spouses of active duty military. You can find more information this at the following: https://www.usajobs.gov/Help/working-in-government/unique-hiring-paths/military-spouses/
Hi Joseph. This is a great question. I think this video might be a little helpful on Deloitte's program and how we encourage Military Spouse referrals
As for finding the right position, there are so many factors that go into providing you an answer to that question. The first is really, what degree, skills or professional background does your spouse have? Is that the area where your spouse may want to actually work? Can you and your spouse support a job/career that would require travel? Do you need a career that would be more supportive of remote work? There are many other question in terms of determining the "right" position.
At Deloitte we do want to help Military Spouses find a good fit. It may be that Deloitte is not a good fit, but we are also a part of a network of employers that are working to provide career opportunities for Military Spouses. Here are a couple of additional links specifically dedicated to Military Spouses:
