As for finding the right position, there are so many factors that go into providing you an answer to that question. The first is really, what degree, skills or professional background does your spouse have? Is that the area where your spouse may want to actually work? Can you and your spouse support a job/career that would require travel? Do you need a career that would be more supportive of remote work? There are many other question in terms of determining the "right" position.
