My Friend is going to complete MBA this year. He is not aware of the job opportunities available in the industries. Can you suggest me the job opportunities for MBA graduates?

Hi James

My recommendation for a first stop is the career center for the school your friend is graduating from. This should help with either local companies or potentially larger companies that have national presence. The depth of that resource will depend on the school your friend is attending

Otherwise, I would recommend looking at other military friendly job fairs and the ACP list of partners. These companies on ACP would all be interested in someone graduating with an MBA. Military friendly job fairs/organizations such as MOJO, Hiring our Heroes, Transition Careers all come to mind. A scan of LinkedIn may also help - using MBA as a key term.

The MBA is a very significant achievement, the answer on job opportunities does require a little more detail on your friend's previous job/military experiences and any specific track that may have been part of the MBA program. MBA graduates are attractive to Consulting, Professional Services firms, Fortune 500 Companies and new companies/start-ups. Was there a specific track that your friend decided to focus on within the MBA program? That can help determine and narrow the actual job opportunities that are available.

Hi James,

I work in Federal consulting and there are many jobs at Deloitte for MBA holders. We work with Federal agencies to help them solve their toughest problems and help improve the way they do business. Let me know if you'd like any more information!
