Resume review for (financial services) relationship manager/business development manager

Veteran

Cody Callarman San Diego, CA

Good afternoon Everyone,

First I want to say thank you for all the great feedback and messages I received on my first ask on ACP net for networking. Great information.

I have a ask to connect with recruiting professionals and/or HR representatives in the financial services industry to look over my resume(s) I have prepared and possibly help me reach out to companies in the Los Angeles area.
With help of my ACP mentor and professionals on ACP net, I have spent 8 months narrowing down what I want to do and trimming the resume for it. My mentor recommended I reach out to professionals in the financial services industry to look over it and provide feedback.
I'm looking to use my instructor/mentor, project manager, and small business experience to apply for relationship manager, business development manager positions in financial services (Wells, BoA, JP, Chase, etc).

Thank everyone in advance. Feel free to message me on here or email me codycallarman@gmail.com

Hi Cody,

I'd be happy to review your resume. I work in strategy at a bank specifically support the commercial and corporate bank. So, RMs (and their leadership) are my main stakeholders. I am in a number of conversations around their performance, etc.

My personal email is kmtama@gmail.com. Please feel free to send me your resume and a cover letter. Also, if you have a particular job description you are aiming for, please feel free to share that with me as well.

Best,
Katie

Hi Cody,

Thanks for the question! My main recommendation right now is to use AdvisorNet's "Community" feature and try to connect with an advisor in HR at a Financial Services firm. You can also search for someone in the Los Angeles area on the same tab. All advisors volunteer to be open to private messages, so if you ask someone to look over your resume, I'm sure they'd be happy to. We can also search for mentors in our mentoring program to take a look at it.
