So I was discharged with a BCD and it wasn't a felony in my home state. I completed all the training as a Navy Nuke. So how much would the BCD affect me getting a decent job?

The answer is quite simple actually. Be honest with a prospective employer. Any job application will ask you to disclose if you had any dings on your record. You should disclose it without being asked about it, let them know you were young and made a mistake and you are past that now and have learned from your mistake.
Most employers will appreciate the honesty and most will like having it come from you rather than reading it on the application. I for one would look at it an opportunity to give you a shot rather than dismiss you, giving you the benefit of the doubt.
A friend of mine had a similar situation. He was honest and up front and someone gave him a shot. He built on that chance he was given to continually improve himself and make good on the opportunity.
In the end, after hard work, reliability, and self education and improvement, he has found great success and manages dozens of people in a senior position.
That is the way, and the only way, I know you can overcome this. As long as you are willing to put in the work and always move forward in a positive direction, I see no reason you cannot be successful.
