I've seen places like angels list etc, but are there other places where veteran investors hang out? Are there specific veteran syndicates out there? This question does not exclude veteran non-accredited investors.

I'm transitioning out from the military soon. I have many friends who startup a business and end up seeking capital.
I per se am not looking for capital. However, I am starting a Title III JOBS Act RegCF funding portal to allow qualified veteran startup companies to post their offering in order to raise capital.
What I would like to do is find ways to spread the word to investors, specifically veteran investors, that this funding portal exists.
The funding portal is VetFunder.com. I'm currently in the process of integrating the escrow API's on the site and finalizing the design.
