Seeking potential network or resume help.

Veteran

Frank Richardson Atlanta, GA

Hello all fellow veterans and advisors alike, I hope all is well in the New Year!

I have recently decided to look for new challenges in education or training field. I am reaching out to you to ask for your help with any leads or contacts. I would welcome insight on my resume if anyone has the time; I haven’t been getting a lot of traction as of late.

I am looking for a sales management, faculty or trainer in Atlanta, ideally in the consumer products field or business faculty adjunct or full time.

If you know of any job opportunities, leads or resume help that you might be able to share with me, please send them my way (nothing is too small or large at this moment, in the way of honest work).

Thanks in advance for your help! I hope you all are doing well and have a prosperous 2019.

Hey Chris,
Thank you for the rapid response and website information, I reached out months ago to numerous folks in my area and haven't yet had a response, so just decided to post here as well to cover all bases.

Gail,
I'll send over my resume right away and thank you in advance for any insight provided.

Best
Frank

Frank, I'd be happy to take a look at your resume. I can provide comments on what you have now, send you a template of how to set it up, and also show you my own resume so you can see how it should look when completed.

I have a Master's in HR, spent most of my career in Sales and Client Management, and also worked part time for an Outplacement Firm for a year, helping people with their resumes, interview skills, networking, etc. If you would like my assistance, please forward your resume as a Word document to gbaccetti@hotmail.com.

And thanks so much for your service!

Hi Frank,

Thank you for your question. I would encourage you to check out the 'Community' page here on the ACP AdvisorNet site. There you can filter by your GA zip code and career field (education/sales) and find advisor in your area. From there you will be able to reach out to them directly which will help you network and learn more about that particular job market.

Also, there is a free service that does resume reviews for veterans. Here is the website: http://www.resumes4vets.org/submit-your-resume.html

Best,
Chris
