Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Certifications

Veteran

Aaron Martin Mount Juliet, TN

I am going to stay in the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting field when I transition out of the Army and back to Nashville. I have around 10 months until I’m available for employment. With that being said, I’ve got time to commit now towards completing a certification or two. My question is which certification would be most relevant to me, knowing that I’m staying in the TA/Recruiting field?

Aaron in looking at your LinkedIn profile, where 90% of recruiters look for employees now days, it needs a little cleaning up-but overall very good. Do you have a Bachelor degree? If not you may want to drop the education section, and list your certificate when received. Listing a college with just one date may lead people to believe that is your graduation date, too many questions if not a Bachelor degree.
Keep in mind, you mention verifiable results, give some #$%. Show value right up front in your summary. I am dropping you an article on LI profiles, hope it helps. Also take a look at my profile posts, there are many other articles from other transition experts. Thanks for your service and sacrifices. God Bless You may want to try a different picture, w/o shadows remember you are asking a company to be their screening for new employees. Please take these as suggestions to assist-not criticisms! https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/linkedin-profile-your-chance-discovered-transitioning-jerry-welsh/
