It is a business where you start at an entry level and work toward advancement and that can come very quick if you have supervisory and management experience, are a regimented team player and have the drive to do the job well. Consider searching that for Advisors with a background in law enforcement and security, and message them to start a conversation about how to job search in the field. I think that would effectively supplement any info you get here.

I wouldn't limit your search to Advisors either: Perhaps some other Veterans could provide insights too, based on their own experiences working in security and figuring out how to get their foot in the door.
