Visit your local Chamber of Commerce. They have volunteers who have a wide variety of experience to assist potential entrepreneurs. There is also good access to people who can help with a business plan. There are also special programs for veterans, especially via the SBA. Thanks for your service and God Bless.

Hi Richard, thanks for asking this question! Have you taken a look at our Community page yet? Consider searching that for Advisors with a background in entrepreneurship, and message them to start a conversation about how to be a better business owner. I think that would effectively supplement any info you get here.

I wouldn't limit your search to Advisors either: Perhaps some other Veterans could provide insights too, based on their own experiences working on starting businesses and scaling them.
