Veteran

Betty Burns Theodore, AL

I just bought a RV park that needs upgrades to make it successful I was told there is help out there for women and disabled Vets like me. I can't seem to find any. Any help where I might look

Dear Betty:
Thank you for your service. The first place to look would be the Service Corps of Retired Executives. (SCORE). Check to see if they have a chapter near you and reach out to them. They can provide a wealth of information and are a group of experienced executive who volunteer their help at no cost.
Also, if you are a Service Connected Disabled Veteran, there are a number of programs in place that will give you preferential treatment with banks and with any governmental agencies you might want to do business with. Make sure they know you are a disabled Vet.

Good luck!

What type of help are you looking for? Is it financial such as you need funds to make improvements or repairs? Is it ideas on what a modern RV park should have to attract and retain customers? Is it employees or managers to do the work on a day to day basis? This would help others better help you in your quest.

Hi Betty,

Here is a great link one of my colleagues shared that has a section and some links on investors, loans, and grants.

I hope this helps and good luck in all your RV Park endeavors!

Best,
Chris
