looking for a mentor in logistics community

Veteran

Blake Gindling San Diego, CA

I'm Blake Gindling, currently serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Logistics Embarker. Looking to get out in Dec. 2020. I'm hoping to job shadow or just see the day in the life of a logistics guy. I'm currently going to school to get my degree in logistics and supply chain management at embry riddle. Just seeing if there is a way to see if I like the job field before I get too into my degree.

Hi Blake - Thank you for your service. I would imagine that through the Career Office at Embry Riddle, you will be able to evaluate possible internships or shadow programs for particular fields. Also, their should be an Alumni Network from Embry that you could get in touch with. Once you reach out to a member of the Logistics community, you could pick their brain on certain questions and I am sure they would allow you to observe them for a day. I hope this helps and best of luck on your degree. Also, thank you again for your service and stay safe in your continued protection of the United States.
