Resume/CV Review

Veteran

Harry Edelman Pittsburgh, PA

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone was available to review my resume. I am currently living in Spain, so I have made it primarily a CV, however I have tweaked it in order to adhere to the general resume guidelines with additional information that could be taken out if necessary.

My main interest would be in a governmental or non governmental organization field with a focus of emergency and disaster management. Thank you so much for anyone that is interested and can get a second set of eyes on it!

Without being specific about YOUR resume, here is a thought/concept for you to consider. Think about the TALENTS you have and focus your resume and its content on touting those over your EXPERIENCE. That is, as a recruiter (for decades) I was always much more interested in a candidates' talent than his/her experience. My thinking was that my employer could always teach to the talent because too often the past experience got in the way of progress; e.g., ". . . . but, when I worked at XYZ, we always did it this way . . . . "

Yes, I know, many hiring managers and recruiters DO focus on the experience, but the wise ones take a hard look on the answer to this question, "Does THIS candidate have the talents necessary to do the job?"

If you have not had the occasion to visit this FREE website, I recommend you do so. If you have difficulty understanding the results or want my take on their results, feel free to E-Mail me (hlstevens42@gmail.com) your results and I will (also free) share my interpretation with you:
