Am I legally able to work for an aircraft maintenance company that contracts with the military or not? I have yet to find a definite answer. Greg

Hello Greg,

It will ultimately depend on the employer that you wish to apply to. In some instances a contractor may have an agreement with DoD or a military component on whom they hire. However, if any of the contractors require a clearance, it may make it that much more difficult to hire on.

Be straight forward to your potential employers during the process, they should communicate to you if that’s an issue.
