First and foremost, do NOT pay someone to assist you with this, or even worse to write it for you.
Every resume is a combination of personal opinion, understanding of what you accomplished, understanding of the position you are applying for...and is inherently subjective.
The best advice that I received, and which I didn't understand until recently, is that your resume needs to be tailored to the position you are applying for. I've come to learn that means your resume is not a recitation of all you have accomplished in the military. It's not your ORB, 201 file, or DD 214, but a selection of accomplishments that speak to the required competencies on the job description. A 1-page resume is actually sufficient, and needs to be a conversation starter that gets you in the door and prompts the hiring manager to want to know more about you. Now go network so you can circumvent the ATS...

Thank you for your service Andrew. I was in the air force.

First thing you need to know that Enhusiasm will make the difference, I was in business for over thirty years an handling finances is what a business owner better know. That being said I found that my ability to transfer on ground current information was paramount, how enthusiasm when presenting the information made the difference. You can't buy it, you have to be able to exude it. This can be done on a resume. Email me and if interested we can talk.

One can't tell you how to do it, it's your and yours alone.

Regards,

Joe

Andrew, did you know that as veteran the company that employees you is entitled to a tax credit up to $9,600. Most employers don't this either. I can show you want to add to your resume that will point this out plus how the employer can take advantage of the credit. Just send me an email to ramco1@verizon.net if you want to learn how. Anyone else reading this feel free to contact me for some guidance.
Warmly,
Bob
