Industrial Design or Designer Needed

Veteran

Fabien W. Edjou Saint Paul, MN

Happy New Year 2018!

Today, I found out that the current design of my product is not good for production. I was also told that I would need to work with an Industrial Design firm or an Industrial Designer to get my product ready for production. I was informed that an Industrial Designer would be able to recommend other things such as the best material for the product, the best manufacturing option (Injection molding, etc...).

This engineering field is new to me. Please if anyone knows an Industrial Design firm or Designer who can assist with this endeavor, I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards,

Fabien

Lieutenant the best industrial designers that care about their clients and what they do are a company called FrogDesign.com Hands down. Good luck, they will be able to find and correct the flaw.

I own a manufacturing company here in Cleveland specializing in general machining and sheet metal fab. You can send me the concepts you have and I can get you pointed in the right direction. Mike@tendon.com

Suggest you contact a local University that has an Industrial Design Department. Maybe one of the professors would be interested in using you design problem as a class project. Another option is to find a student that would use your design problem as a 4th year thesis topic.
Good luck,

Fabian,
Have you researched the advisors on this site to see if there are any in your field?
Have you reached out to the industrial Designers of America, www.idsa.org?
Are you currently active on Linkedin connecting with groups to identify networking and mentoring?
These are starting points with anyone pursuing a career in a field.
Good luck,
