Hiring Vets

William Campbell Clarence, NY

I have been running a small assembly plant for a few years now and with our growth, I need more leaders on the production floor. I started as the only employee and run over 50 people on first shift. While I was in the service I was frequently working with amazing Staff and Tech Sgts who could consistently get the job done. Some of my best people have been Vets and I’m looking for some way to find more of them. Is there some other place I can post jobs to try and recruit veterans? Right now it’s luck of the draw though Indeed.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Bill thank you for serving, a good source in your state would be the veteran service organizations in your state. For NY, look at VFW.NY and Legion.NY. They can put out your opportunities to over 150K veterans within NY state. Good Luck.

There is a job posting board here on ACP AdvisorNet and there is also a host of military recruiters/head hunters that would help you place for a fee.

ZipRecruiter yields consistent results.
