Greetings everyone, happy Friday! To all of our Deloitte professionals out there, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to assist. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Deloitte consultants in my previous career in financial services in New York.
I am interested in any perspectives on how one should apply for Deloitte international opportunities. Specifically, is it detrimental (or advantageous) to apply for positions at a European office if one has the required skills, language, experience? Or is it recommended to start out in a U.S. office and seek opportunities abroad at a later date, once one has experience in-house? I'm particularly interested in Deloitte's commercial consulting side, with an emphasis on Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud investigation, Energy, and Risk Advisory services. Any feedback is much appreciated.
