I gained 3+ years experience in Program Management and Federal Acquisitions while working for a Defense Contractor, but I'm equally, if not more passionate about building on my experience working in the Intelligence Community. I'm fairly certain that I want to pursue roles within Deloitte's Strategy & Operations Specialty, but are there any other Categories or Specialties that are in particular demand? I'm particularly interested in roles that are focused on Mission & Integration and as opposed to singular functions like "schedule" or "cost".

First and foremost: thank you for your service to our country. As to your question, it really depends on how you would like to serve the IC. Are you looking to support something that is specific to mission-facing operations or are you looking to focus on strategic issues and improving performance? Having a high-level clearance will help you get in the door, but otherwise your fields of interest and experience would determine where within Deloitte you would land. Generally speaking, cleared personnel are always in demand regardless of area of interest so it truly depends on where your passion lies.

I think my interests and background are best suited for strategic issues and performance, but I'm going to look into mission-facing operations as well.
I think your skills are very complimentary... Firms like Deloitte value the operational perspective; but equally seek that perspective to an acquisition link - I would keep you aperture wide open in both directions. Along those lines, I agree with Kyle above and would add that clearance + acquisition + mission perspective = winner
Agree with Kyle. I will add that your program management and acquisition experience will be viewed very favorably by public sector consulting Firms (like Deloitte). The ability to navigate the acquisition process for mission critical IC type solutions is very valuable to us and I would emphasize that if you pursue a Consulting career.
