I don't have experience taking the test but I suggest you look on forums like PointSixtyFive to see what others are saying what the new ATSA test is like. this forum has the best info that I have found.

Good Morning Jeremy,

I will be taking the FAA Part 107 sUMS Knowledge Exam in a couple of days. I took my first test two and a half weeks ago - scored 65% and failed (70% required). I failed to study the correct material - maps, abbreviations and acronyms. Present cost of this test is $150.00 each time you take it until you pass. The FAA Air Traffic (ATSA) may be more expensive or around the same cost.

You can use the internet to find sample exams to get ready for the test. You may want to purchase a copy of the Federal Aviation Regulations Aeronautical Information Manual and order a copy of a FAA Sectional Aeronautical Chart and a FAA Terminal Area Chart for the area of the US that you plan on working in. Between 40 to 80 hours of reading and studying may be adequate unless you have total recall.

Good Luck,

Mark
