Internship San Antonio

Veteran

David Stickley San Antonio, TX

Im looking for a internship in San Antonio for Summer 2017. I am a psychology major and a veteran. Im not necesarily looking into any one career path but I have an interest in Government and Investments. I would be willing to look at any opportunity no matter what the career path is.

Thanks!

Hi David,

Have you considered taking classes in either government or finance, as part of your college course work, or even changing majors to one of your areas of interest? If so, you may find that professors, advisors, and other students could form the basis for a network of contacts in your area(s) of interest. I would mine your college or university for information or opportunities related to summer internships. Also, think about combining both interests and researching organizations that invest funds for public pension (gov't) and reaching out to them with a proposal for an internship. Most large financial companies have gov't relations departments, too; another avenue to explore. Alternatively, research pension and investment depts. of gov't entities. Best wishes and thank you for your service!
