There are several certifications for Business Analysts. The CBAP is just one of them. I have a BA certification from Villanova University.
In my world of information technology (IT), a Business Analyst is the liaison between the business team and the engineering team. The technical and diplomatic skills that you learned in the military will always be valuable.
