Are there any advisers who conduct business with local, state, or Federal government?

I am a disabled veteran with some distinct advantages dealing with government contracting sales and I am looking to learn from those who are familiar with this wheel rather than reinventing it.

You will be awarded a certain number of "points" for your disabled veteran status. You can also become certified as an SBA "Small Business" or "Small Disadvantaged Business" (if you qualify) for additional advantages in Federal and sometimes State or Local contracting. I helped a friend to become SBA certified recently, and would be happy to chat with you online. One piece of advice that I can give you is that the SBA typically looks for at least two years of business income for accreditation. I don't think it's a requirement; however, I believe they look at that to assess whether your business is viable.

Hi Stephen,

I work for a very large "design-finance-build-operate" company with offices around the world. We do a huge amount of government contract work, and can always use people with talents in that field. If you would like to know more, please message me on this site.

Stephen-
Thanks for your service! I am self employed as an independent consultant providing businesses seeking Federal Government contracts with winning capture strategies and proposals. I also help businesses identify Federal government contracting opportunities and help them decide if they are worth pursuing or not based on research and other tools. If this is something similar to what you are interested in doing then please feel free to message me so we can set up a time to further discuss your goals.
Thanks again-
Deb
