Walter, if you are interested in working on government-funded projects (even some state level), look into getting a certification as a Veteran-owned or Service-disabled veteran owned business, if applicable. There are often contracts available as set aside contracts (or portions of contracts) for these companies. Just might have to do some leg work on the front end to get qualified:
