PHARMACIST! Many business are short on pharmacist. The drug companies are making millions with their commercials and most companies have a sign on bonus like, Safeway for example.

I worked as a mental health therapist and we would get pharmacy students in to do their internships with our providers, learning how to prescribe, etc.

Every single one had a sign on bonus upwards of 50,000 and the companies paid for some if not all of their educational expenses. Or look in to Pharmacy Tech, less college but still has the demand.

OTHER OPTION: Become a drug rep. It is a really fun job. Taking doctors out to lunch and more. Usually you have to be tall, attractive, and great people skills.

OTHER:
I would look at the fastest growing careers, especially in the medical field or anything to do with servicing the largest generation of Americans (baby boomers). The demand is going to be huge! Any economy major could tell you demand equals FAT $$$$$

Brother Patrick,
You may also wish to contact a non-profit credit counseling effort, and to find out if you can re-negotiate you roan from ITT, and/or if it makes sense to try an have the loan discharged.

Large corporations routinely re-negotiate credit and debt. Absolutely consider all your options, and proceed in a way that is in the best interest of you and you family - children, parents, spouse, etc. Get advice from an expert in credit counseling!

Brother,
As Kelly asks, what are your interests? What do you enjoy? If all jobs and career paid a similar salary, what sorts of jobs might you pursue?

What are your career goals? What do you want to do after you graduate from college? Do you have any thought about what you will study in college?

Hi Patrick- You can take a look at Telecom for employment in your market. See www.triwire.net (Nashville).

You need a good driving record, no felony convictions and pass a drug test for above . Learning curve on being a Telecom Tech is about 6 months (you will have learned all but 5% of what the job requires in 3 months).

After a few years if you stay in this job, most Telecom employers will make you a supervisor or a manager. Turn-over in Telecom Tech jobs is about 60%. Most who think this is not a job for them leave because they think the work is too hard. It is not. It is easy. Plus, you work by yourself with no boss on your back.Contact me for questions. I have been in Telecom for over 40 years. I am still learning about Telecom.

Patrick,
The first place to start would be looking at where your interests, hobbies, and passions currently rest. Then take a look at your current skills as well as ones you would like to acquire. Finally, spend some time analyzing your personality traits and the environments in which you are happiest and most productive. Get these in writing and something should jump out at you immediately as a possible career option.
Best of luck,
Kelly
