Position Summary:
The Airman (Technician/Pilot) is responsible for the performance of required maintenance & release of aircraft to owner (through the act of flying to owner or delivery in situ) and carries out assigned duties using Mx2Fly procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assign and direct the work of Airmen based on scheduled and unscheduled workloads
Determine if work performed adheres to Company policies, publications or other appropriate authority
Check the aircraft maintenance log when assigned to meet aircraft and takes any actions required to respond to discrepancies entered
Provide Maintenance Control with information on the mechanical status of aircraft and flight planning required to deliver aircraft
Complete required paperwork accurately using procedures set forth in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
Ensure use of only approved and certified hardware, parts, and equipment to be installed or used on aircraft and verifies calibration period has not been exceeded for work that requires calibrated tools or equipment
Conduct crew briefings
Assist in performing routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Currently in possession of a valid passport or equivalent travel documents to travel freely in and out of all US destinations
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets Mx2Fly’s insurance standards
Ability to communication effectively; in both oral and written communication
Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in confined spaces
Able to drive tugs, trucks, taxi aircraft or other company equipment
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
Ability to remain alert to moving vehicles and aircraft
Working knowledge of inventory management
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well with others and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Available for occasional overnight travel
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test (when applicable).

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Current Private Pilot License
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Aviation discipline
Two (2) years commercial/general aviation experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and the Internet
Strong leadership abilities
Ability to multi task and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Ability to think creatively

Airman Expectations:
Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on Mx2Fly flights, and if time permits, all Airmen required to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Upholding Mx2Fly’s safety performance metric goals and understanding how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Equipment:
Computer and other office equipment
Aircraft and component inspection and test equipment as required
Issued reflective safety vest and ear protection
Ability to use handheld two way radios, headsets and/or phone
Personal tools – minimum required tool list

Work Environment:
Normal office environment
Shift work required

Physical Effort:
Position requires extremely strenuous physical work involving objects in excess of seventy (70) to one hundred (100) pounds.
