The job functions of the Business Valuation and Capital Efficiencies Consultant will include the following:
• Business case planning and analysis (capital efficiency)
• Provide expert analytical and/or scientific solutions for highly complex technical matters
• Analyze program activities such as acquisition or program planning, program “should cost” analyses, financial management, cost analysis, and other tasks related to Federal programs
• Analyze and format information developed and used to evaluate a Federal program/weapon system/ similar complex program
• Develop, plan, coordinate and integrate requirements to support operational needs and develop, gather, and organize data collection efforts
• Contribute subject matter expertise and advise clients at a level that is typically attained via a related technical education

Requirements:
• BS/BA in Business, Finance, Engineering or related area
• Experience applying cost estimating, cost modeling, cost analysis, program analysis, program management, scheduling, and related cost, schedule, and technical analysis
• Applicants should be eligible to obtain and hold an active U.S. Government Clearance
• Experience with “should cost” analyses, financial management, cost analysis, and other tasks related to government programs
• Experience providing expertise to Business Case Analysis (BCA), Economic Analysis (EA), Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Portfolio Optimization, and/or Capital Planning
• Proven verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities required
• Exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the customer as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group
• Experience with Microsoft Office products

In addition, an ideal candidate will also possess one or more of the following:
• DAU Cost Analysis or ICEAA Certifications
• Advanced Excel skills
• Prior business case analysis, cost estimation, and/or portfolio management experience
• Department of Defense acquisition program management experience
