MDI is a systems integration firm that provides clients with a wide variety of automation services. Our firm is located both in Shrewsbury and Allentown, PA and serves clients throughout the world. We are looking for engineers who are willing to travel and constantly learn new platforms/software throughout multiple industry sectors.

An ideal candidate would be responsible for project management, estimating, system design, execution, and start-up. Projects are often very exciting and fast paced with extensive client interaction and MDI’s company structures allows for an engineer to be involved in all aspects of a project and business decisions.

• College degree (or equivalent experience)

• PLC and HMI programming, various platforms
• Drives and motion control, various platforms
• Vision inspection systems
• High level language knowledge (.net, C++, VB)
• Database development (MS-Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle)
• Microsoft operating systems, office, and networking
• Electrical design
• Electrical troubleshooting
