Job Responsibilities
Leadership – Trusted advisor to the business unit president and executive team. Serve as the senior technology leader in the business unit with exceptional business and technology communication skills. Provide guidance and direction to the business unit to align the enterprise IT strategy with the needs of the business unit. Ensure enterprise and business unit IT strategies fit into the portfolio of business. Lead IT team of employees and contractors.
IT Strategy – Develop and deliver a multi-year business unit IT strategy that fuels growth and productivity.
Client Relationship – Engage the business unit market to understand business sector strategies and the role the business plays in the in Aramark portfolio. Provide guidance on IT enterprise strategies against the business portfolios with investment levels. Helps enable client engagement strategies that help win more and lose less.
Financial Performance – Provide transparency across the business as it pertains to IT investments, enterprise initiatives and key leading indicators to ensure that senior leaders are seeing the ROI on their IT investments. Advise senior business leaders on IT capabilities to drive revenue and operating efficiencies.
Compliance – Out ahead of compliance and proactive strategies are in place to drive compliance. Educating and advising on IT program compliance as well as engaging our clients to discuss our compliance strategies and future roadmaps. Advocate for our customers and clients to ensure we operate with industry standard security practices.
Align the demand and the IT enterprise agenda ensuring business leaders are engaged on the vision, strategy and execution.
Create a client centric approach to the business by developing a high performing business relationship that are constantly proving IT solutions to business agendas to drive profitable growth and enhancing business margin.
Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate senior level executives on IT vision and strategy.
Facilitate the interaction between the appropriate consultative, delivery and operational technical expertise to define, deliver and operate the business results.
Develop and enhance relationships with key business stakeholders, actively manage their expectations & monitor satisfaction levels.
Travel for the job expected 10-15% of the time.
Qualifications
Experience – 10-15 years IT leadership experience in a large, complex environment. Prior business unit/company CIO is preferred. Experience in primary/secondary education industry is preferred.
Education – Bachelor’s degree required; technical focus preferred.
