PCC Rollmet is a leading manufacturer of cold worked and annealed pipe for the petrochemical, energy and defense industries. We provide precision thin wall seamless cylindrical shapes, pipes and tubes across a wide range of materials, including nickel alloy, stainless steel, aluminum, and ferritic alloy. PCC Rollmet has pioneered our unique Cold Roll Extrusion process to manufacture precision thin wall tubes under 0.75” thicknesses. Strengths of our cold roll extruded, solid-solution alloy pipes are greater than those of conventionally manufactured pipe and tube, due to the fine-grain size achieved through cold working and recrystallization.
Job Description
Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation, and management of global supplier programs, in coordination with the Supply Chain Team. Also responsible for refining/establishing and executing the supply chain strategy to successfully support new development or existing production programs. The Procurement Specialist will work collaboratively with Production and Engineering.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage multiple, complex supplier contracts to ensure performance and execution to contracts
Lead several complex supply chain sourcing projects
Evaluate, analyze, and assess trends and advancements in commodities, technologies, and sources of supply
Establish strategies to develop and improve the supply base as partners in support of quality, cost, delivery, and service level objectives
Analyze commodities and sources; manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contracts
Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering to meet the needs of the business in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Serves as backup to the Supply Chain Manager

Demonstrated success establishing sourcing strategies, negotiating, and managing multiple complex programs
Demonstrated success working with multiple cross-functional teams and projects
Strong communicator and collaborator, adept at
High level of decision-making capability regarding sourcing solutions
Experience with strategic sourcing and negotiating various long term and subcontract types and associated terms
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or another related field preferred
6 years’ experience in supply chain, or procurement in the manufacturing industry
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of raw material, forgings, welding, machining, heat treat, processing and coatings.
Willing to travel within the Greater Los Angeles area.
